The Inter-Parliamentary Unition (UPI) held its 141st Assembly in Belgrade , Serbia in October 2019 during which, the LWF Country Representative, Sophia Gebreyes, participated in a panel discuions on climate change on the 16th at the invitation of the Mrs. Claudia Roth, the Vice President of the Bundestag and the President of the German Green Party. The panel discussion was about the role and responsibilities of parliamentarians to advance the cause of climate justice in their respective counttry.
